The Association to Preserve the Eatonville Community, Inc. (P.E.C.)”, a 501 (c)3, historic preservation/cultural arts/community revitalization organization has a core interest in identifying tangible ways we can contribute to a structured, long-term discussion on race in 21st-century America with an ultimate outcome of generational impact.

During January – March 2021, P.E.C. wishes to present, virtually, “Community Conversations: A 3-Part Series on Race and Economic Realities in 21st Century America.” For the first program [presented Tuesday, January 26, 7:00 – 9:00 PM], William A. Darity, Jr., Ph.D., Samuel DuBois Cook Professor of Public Policy, African and African American Studies, and Economics at Duke University and co-author with Kirsten Mullen of From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the 21st Century (University of North Carolina Press), 2020 will be the featured presenter.
