Dinner Inspired by Zora: Celebrating Good Student Citizens in Grades 3 -5
Eligibility: Have A/B grades, good attendance, good conduct, and have an adult’s referral
Be accompanied at the dinner by an adult
Must participate in an orientation, which will take place during the 2017 Winter Break
Exclusively for elementary students attending these OCPS Title I schools: Hungerford (located in the Town of Eatonville), Killarney, Lockhart, Riverside, and Rosemont.
Student honorees pay no admission; adult admission, $15

ZORA! Festival and Orange County Public Schools, in addition to Valencia College, the National Center for Simulation, the Orange County Library System, the Orlando Science Center, and the University of Central Florida – College of Medicine, have collaborated to present in-depth STEM education offerings and cultural arts programs. Collectively, they are known as ZORA! Education Programs (ZEP).
Because these students pay no fees to participate in any of these programs, ZORA! Festival welcomes cash and in-kind contributions.

5th Annual ZORA! STEM Conference for Middle School Students

Orlando Technical College
A full-day if activities designed to jump-start the interests of middle school students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Structured to attract students who are historically under-represented in these fields, the ZORA! STEM Conferencaims to inspire students’ awareness of career opportunities and to dispel some of the myths and stereotypes about these fields and the persons entering them.
