4th Africa – America Women’s Economic Forum & Trade Expo

Thursday - Sunday, June 2 - 5, 2022

A Collaboration among the Association to Preserve the Eatonville Community, Inc. (P.E.C.); Crummer Graduate School of Business - Rollins College; Wilson College of Textiles - North Carolina State University; Access Bank - Nigeria; and The DOOR of Our Return.


A Strategic Opportunity for Ten (10) African-American Businesswomen at the 33rd Annual ZORA! Festival


(1) Paid Registration for the 2-day economic forum [Thursday & Friday, June 2 – 3] at Rollins College] &

(2) Paid Vending Fee at the ZORA! – Outdoor Festival of the Arts, Africa – America Women’s Trade Expo Pavilion [Saturday & Sunday, June 4 – 5]: 10 x 10 space including a 6′ table, 2 chairs & sign in a pole tent.

Applicants’ Financial Responsibilities:
  • Travel/Lodging/Per Diem
  • All costs associated with producing/displaying products being vended
  • All applicable taxes and required reporting
Submission Requirements:

[A] African-American female-owned business;

[B] Non-refundable $12 application fee submitted at the time of the application;

[C] Commitment to attend the Economic Forum [Thursday & Friday, June 2 - 3];

[D] Commitment to vend both days, [Saturday & Sunday, June 4 & 5] in the Africa – America Women’s Trade Expo Pavilion;

[E] Condensed history (Maximum word count: 250) providing:

(i) Year business founded;

(ii) Primary objectives of business;

(iii) Current source of funding;

(iv) Revenue, profit figures for last 3 -5 years; and

(v) How participation at ZORA! Festival 2022 will advance your business

[F] 3 – 5 High-resolution (at least 300 dpi) images of the business products which will be vended;

[G] High-resolution (at least 300 dpi), professional headshot with a 6 – 8-sentence bio; and

[H] Signed Consent Form
