Stories of Eatonville Families

Historic Eatonville has been able to maintain its community cohesiveness because of four anchors:  religious fervor, family strength, dedication to education, and civic pride.  In 2010, the Town of Eatonville received a Heritage Preservation Education grant from the State of Florida, Division of Historical Resources.  One of the activities from that grant was for members of the community to explore their roots and then  to create some individual  project that would help them to understand better how their family had contributed to the formation and/or cohesiveness of Eatonville.
