In 2004, ZORA! Festival added, what was to become, and “instant programming winner.” HATitude, a luncheon event, celebrating Zora Neale Hurston’s penchant for wearing hats, provides an opportunity for the participants to be “the stars.” A fun program, HATitude is a fast-spaced, 3-hour event, where the focus is on food, fashion, and having a good time. Whether you are 5 or 95, a woman or a man, if you want to come to HATitude, you need to know, “If you are not wearing a hat, you can’t get in!”
